This photo is part of a series of an independent visual project I created, where I committed to the perception of the connection between human beings/nature that I have always thought about. With the black and white portraits, I shot on angles where the girl would look “blended” into the nature behind, as she was another lay of the trees and, consequently, connected to nothing but the earth at that moment. The neutral expression in her eyes was part of my art direction to bring the calmness of the sounds nature itself makes
sometimes.
